With spooks, ghouls and things that go bump in the night, haunted places are likely not the first thing you consider when planning a trip to a new city. However, ghost stories can reveal a lot about a city’s past as well as add color and insight to your travels. The Pacific Northwest is home to some dark and spooky ghost stories just waiting to be uncovered. All you need is a flashlight (and nerves of steel might help, too)!
Ghost hunting is not for the faint of heart, but the Pacific Northwest’s ghostly inhabitants are largely passive. They may scare you, but you’ll leave their haunting grounds with more amazing stories than any history book can give you.
