TreeTrek is a fully guided ecology based tour that takes guests through the treetops on a series of suspension bridges and observation platforms. As with Ziptrek, while on course guests are able to see first hand the variety of forest composition between the ancient, old growth forests and the second generation forests that exist in the area. It is the ideal site for interactive learning and outdoor adventure exploration.

TreeTrek guests enjoy an even stronger focus on our ecology and sustainability material in the same stunning and inspriring locale. And for some, the gentle sway of the suspension bridges offers the same exhilaration as riding a zipline does for others!

Tour Details

TreeTrek is a guided walking tour, situated in the valley between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Guests travel over a series of suspension bridges, boardwalks and platforms high up in the canopy of the Coastal Temperate Rainforest. Some of the rarest rainforest on earth is located right between Whistler and Blackcomb mountains! Treetrek Canopy Walk reveals how lessons learned from living within a naturally sustainable ecosystem are being applied to make Whistler the most sustainable community in North America. The duration of the TreeTrek tour is 1.5- 2 hours.
