Butchart Garden Afternoon Tea and AdmissionCelebrate a British tradition at Victoria's famous gardens
Delight in the British tradition of Afternoon Tea at Victoria's world famous Butchart Garden’s. The world famous gardens were established in 1904 and are found on 55 acres of a reclaimed quarry site. The garden invites you to explore its intimate paths and streams that direct you through explosions of color along the flower lined stone walkways. There is not a more enjoyable setting for Afternoon Tea! Butchart Garden’s combines Afternoon Tea with a little of the High Tea tradition. Enjoy many freshly prepared treats from the garden’s kitchen. Some samples include the warm sausage roll made from Vancouver Island pork, roasted vegetable and cheese quiche, the chocolate Grand Marnier truffles and the Lemon Poppy Seed loaf.
A large pot of tea with your choice of loose tea leaf blends complements your meal. Amongst the varieties offered you'll find Gardens Blend (light black tea blend of Darjeeling, Black Hunan and Gunpowder), Bachelor Button (Chinese Black and Sencha tea flavored with bergamot, rhubarb and blue cornflowers), Teaberry Blend (Black Ceylon tea flavored with strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and currants) and Rose Congou (Chinese lack tea scented with rose petals). These blends are also available in the Gift Shop to allow you to take memories home. |
