Victoria Clipper Check-in/Boarding Procedures

Passengers may check-in and get their boarding passes as well as boarding group number assignments up to 7 (seven) days before departure. This can be accomplished at the Seattle or Victoria terminal. If passengers are traveling round trip and both legs of travel are within 7 (seven) days, we will issue boarding passes with boarding group assignments for both legs of travel. If you are in possession of tickets that are not stamped with a red “BOARDING PASS”, you may exchange your tickets for boarding passes up to 7 (seven) days before departure.

Departing Seattle – Passengers traveling from Seattle will begin boarding 45 minutes prior to departure by group number or general boarding, based on the departure. All departures board by group number, except the 3:15 PM departure (when in service), which boards on a first-come first-serve basis.

Departing Victoria - Passengers are required to process through U.S. Customs & Border Protection before boarding any departure from Victoria. U.S. Customs & Border Protection processing is on a first-come first-serve basis. U.S. Customs & Border Protection will start processing passengers at least 1 (one) hour before departure. Once U.S. Customs & Border Protection has started clearing passengers, boarding group number announcements will begin for those passengers who have cleared through U.S. Customs and Border Protection. If your boarding group number is called while you are waiting to process U.S. Customs & Border Protection you will be boarded as soon as you have cleared U.S. Customs & Border Protection.

Check-in is recommended one hour prior to departure, final boarding is 15 minutes prior to departure. Passengers not on board the vessel 15 minutes prior to departure will forfeit their entire fare.
